Holt Webb, 40, (VanishingAmerica.net) has been on the road for two years, with an eco-friendly motor home pulling a Land Rover Defender, both of which run on vegetable oil, raising awareness about America’s disappearing wildlife, landscape and culture. Holt gives presentations to schools, exhibits his photography in galleries, writes articles about his travels, is working on a documentary about his journey, and is pitching a TV show about the project. Holt will be accompanied by cameramen filming the expedition in High Definition. Holt is a member of the Overland Society, winner of their first Overland Expedition Flag Competition, and donates a portion of the proceeds of his work to conservation efforts around the country.
